✈️ My Dream: The Epic Origin Story of a Travel-Obsessed Kid Who Actually Grew Up to Own a Travel Agency
When I was a kid, I didn’t dream of being a princess, a firefighter, or a professional dinosaur.
Nope.
I dreamed of owning my very own travel agency.
While other kids were trading snacks or arguing over toys, I was pretending my bedroom was an airport check-in counter. My stuffed animals were frequent flyers, my bed was the boarding gate, and flights were constantly delayed due to what I very professionally called “teddy bear turbulence.”
From the very beginning, travel had me hooked.
Every trip taught me the same slightly rude but powerful lesson:
the more you see the world, the more you realize how much of it you haven’t seen yet.
Which is honestly unfair. The world could at least pretend to be smaller.
Still, that feeling stuck with me — the curiosity, the excitement, the sense that there was always something new waiting just beyond the horizon.
Years passed. I grew up. Life happened. Reality set in.
But somehow, that childhood dream never fully let go of me.
Then came the plot twist I still laugh about.
I didn’t just grow up loving travel — I actually built a business around it.
I opened a real travel agency.
No crayons.
No shoebox desk.
No stuffed animals demanding early boarding.
Just real people booking real trips to real places — and trusting me to help them create memories they’ll carry for life.
This travel agency origin story still feels surreal some days. What once lived in my imagination became my everyday reality, reminding me that the dreams we carry as kids don’t disappear — they wait patiently for the right moment.
Running a travel agency was once a wild childhood idea. Now it’s my purpose, my passion, and my proof that sometimes the things we prayed for quietly grow into something bigger than we imagined.
